Could Casey Mears and Jimmie Johnson exchange owner points midseason to prevent Casey from missing a race.?
Celebrities January 10th, 2010Casey is almost over 50 pts out of the top-35. Should Casey be outside the top-35 in owners points after the 6th race of 2008, could he and Jimmie switch owner points like Kurt Busch and Sam Hornish did preseason?

I don’t think there is any way that he will be outside the top 35 at that point but weird things do happen. I’m not positive but I think you can transfer owner points at any time through the season. Might happen with johnson being the most recent champ.

You need to do it before the season starts. Casey will be just fine as everybody has bad luck at some point in the season. He had some bad luck at Daytona and Cali but will still finish the season somewhere around 15th.
